Happy Sunday People~

Good morning to all! Are you ready for another day? I know I am! I woke up way early this morning... 4:15 a.m.!!! The sun was starting to rise, and I guess that's what got me movin'. :)

Life is keepin' this girl movin', that's for sure! Yesterday we went and met with another car dealership and finally made a decision on a car. We bought a 2009 Chevy Malibu, in mid-night blue color. It rides so smooth and quietly and is good on gas. It's pretty darn sharp lookin' too~ We pic it up on Monday! (Hey, that's tomorrow! Yeah!!!)

Besides buying a new car yesterday, I also did some laundry and did some Spring cleaning. I took the curtains down in my kitchen and washed & pressed those and washed the windows. There is something about clean windows and curtains that perk a room up! :)

Last night we hunkered on down in front of the tv and watched Australia. It's a long movie, but a very good one. It's an adventure/romance and keeps your full attention. Heck, I was so into the movie, that spaced out the chat going on over at Pixel Gypsy Designs last night! Dah!!!
As for today, I guess I'm going to do some ironing first. Then I'm off to the gap to return some pants that were way too big, and then I think we'll head out to my Mom's to see what she may need help on or to just chat.
Otherwise, in the digi world... Us girls over at Pixel Gypsy Designs have been patiently waiting to hear from Sherrie and Scott. Creating Keepsakes invited them down for the CKU-Convention in Tennessee to represent a growing and friendly digi site(that's definately PGD!!!) and us girls are longing to hear how things went. Very exciting opportunity for PGD!!!
Oh, and guess what? I applied for another Creative Team; I can't believe I actually did it. I've been so afraid to do so... it makes me nervous because I'm wondering if I can handle the responsibilities of being on two teams. I've always been totally committed to PGD and don't want to louse things up there... But, I just couldn't resist... Faith True was having a call. Here desings are so fun to scrap with and so match up with my scrappin' style. Here is a link to her blog and she sells her wonderful designs over at Shabby Pickle. (The Pickle is one of my favorite shoppes.) She is to announce today whom the lucky gals are. I'm sitting here, nervously waiting to hear...

Other then that, here are my LOs from the past week.

And here is another LO using Faith True's awesome designs!!!

Well, I best get out of here; Lots to be done! Catch you all later! Have a wonderful day!!!

Good Memorial Day to you!

Happy Memorial Day to all; I hope you have a wonderful day planned! Me... I'm just finishing up the laundry for the weekend and then I'll need to do some ironing. Maybe after that I'll do some Spring cleaning and wash some windows(they need it!). And hopefully it will be warm enough today to jump in the pool. Pool is like at 82... I'm thinkin' that's plenty warm to swim in! :)
Yesterday was a productive day for me, very productive. It's amazing what you can do when you put your mind too it. Here is list of my accomplishments from yesterday.

-Completed a LO! :)
- Washed all the bedding; so everyone had a clean bed to sleep in last night.(I luv fresh clean bedding to go to.)

For Mom:
-Bought maulch for my Mom and laid that for her.
-Planted my Moms flowers for her.
-And did her weed trimming.
(It really looks nice, hope my Mom is enjoying the view!) :)

Then I headed home and...
- Took my car through the car wash.
- Did our weeding and trimmed back some bushes.
- Emptied the dishwasher.
- Swept the floors.
- Vacuumed through the house.
- Did 3 loads of laundry.

Then the dh and I...
- Showered (NO, not together! LOL!)
- Went out for dinner at our favorite Mexician Resturant. (Yummy!)

By 10:00 p.m., I was fast asleep. What a day! And let me tell you, I'm feeling it today; my body hurts. (So worth the effort though...)
And in my digi world... look what's new over at Pixel Gypsy Designs!

And here the LOs I completed this week! I just luv this one, because this is such a beautiful pic of my Emma. I tried to keep the LO simple, as to not take away from the beauty of the pic! Can you believe this pic is almost straight from the camera?!!! The lighting and moment were perfect! The only correction I made to the pic was to whiten her teeth a bit.

And the next two LOs are from a vactation in PV, Mexico this year. Oh... I wish I was there now!

And this one is of my girl friends and I from "Girls Night Out," a few weeks back. This LO was my entry in the Digi Dare for last week, and so totally fun to create.

Oh, and I wanted to mention that the challenges are starting up over at Pixel Gypsy Designs again. The first one will be posted in the forum on June 2nd; I hope you'll come join us!
Well, I guess I'm out of here for now... off to work on my ironing.
Hope your Memorial Day is a wonderful one! :)

Yep! You got it! It's Happy Sunday!!!

Good Sunday morning to you all! The sun is shinning here and the birds are singing to me! A wonderful way to start the day! I hope your day is starting just as beautiful as mine.
Last night we out for dinner and a local Italian Restaurant for pizza(which was very yummy!). The Emma's Squared disappeared upstairs to beautify themselves, and look at how cute they were!!! I just had to take a pic of them, and of course it will be scrapped! :)

Oh, and I wanted to share this one too. Yesterday afternoon I had a Thirty One party, which was loads of fun! Their products are awesome and so fun! (What woman wouldn't enjoy a personalized purse or bag?) Anyhow, I soical kitty Ace got right in on the fun! Isn't he too stinkin' funny?!!!

And here is our Acer after the party... he was so tuckered out from all the fun. LOL!

Okay, I'm confessing again! LOlL! I've done a little digi shoppin' again too! See what I picked up this week! I know! I know! I probably didn't need them... but I couldn't resist. I hoping to play later today with them!!!

This one I picked up over at a shop I just found; cool stuff there.
The shop is Scrappitty Doo-Dah.

And the rest I picked up at one of my favorite shoppes... Shabby Pickle. Yah... you don't want to venture over to that store unless you've got your Pay Pal account with you!!! LOL!

And here are few of my newiest creations. I used some of the awesome new products over at Pixel Gypsy on this first one! Totally perfect for PV Mexico vacation pics! You really must venture over to the shop and check out all the wonderful new products this week!!!

Well, I've gotta head-it-on-out-of-here, lots to do... ironing and then we are off to mall for a little shoppin'! We have a few gift cards that are burning a hole in our pockets, so....
Anyhow, have a wonderful Sunday!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers out there!!! A day to be honored for all the hard (and often unnoticed) work that you do…the physical, emotional, mental, educational, and spiritual. Being a mother is a high calling. Let’s not take it lightly. Remember, you may be invisible but you are building something far more amazing that can ever be imagined.

So, what am I gonna do on Mothers Day? Well at the moment I've got some laundry going and then I'm gonna get my Sunday ironing done... hopefully this will all be done by around 10 a.m. Then I'm gonna head off to spend some time with the best Mom in the world, my Mom! And I guess after that... whatever... Emma and I are thinkin' about going to Game Stop and getting her the new DSI; she is beggin' for it. We'll be trading in her DS for it, so it shouldn't hurt the wallet too much! :)

And well, since it's my day, I had to do a little shoppin' for me! See what I found!!! Wooo! Whooo! I so can't wait to play with; hopefully today! You can find them both over at Sunshine Studio Scraps. And while you are there, check out the awesome LOs created with these kits; truly inspirational!!!

And while I'm here, I would like to share a few of my latest LOs. The first one was taken at my Emma's dance recital that took place yesterday. The girls did such an awesome job with their dance; what a joy to watch! All the hard work they put in all year, was so totally was reflected in their dance. They dance song was "Working in the Coal Mine."

And here are few more of my latest...

And here is a pic of my Emma with Grandma after last night's dance recital. I so can't wait to scrap this pic!!! (Oh, and my the way, this is my Mom, the best Mom ever!!!)

Well, I've gotta scoot for now... Have a wonderful Mother's Day!

PixelGypsy Designs University

Hey there! Happy Friday to you! I thought I would pop in and mention the Pixel Gypsy Designs University. It 's new addition to the PGD site, and it's filling up with tutorials, for beginners on-up to seasoned scrappers. There are a number of articles and videos also. Everyone will find some interesting, informative and fun!

Recently added are a couple new pieces. Gypsy Girl Christine wrote an easy-to-understand tutorial on how to create awesome titles from your photos by clipping photos to fonts/words in PS and PSE. You can find Clipping Photos to Words HERE.

And Sherrie Piegdon added a new installment of Inspired By… to the article roster. This time around I used an ad design as my layout inspiration. You can check that one out HERE.

We are continuing to add content for scrapbookers of all levels to PGDU—so keep your eyes peeled for more! :)

Just popping in to provide you with some Pixel Gypsy Designs news. :)

We've opened nominations for the May Pixel Gyspy Elite Scrapper. You can nominate beautiful layouts you find in the month of May (must be uploaded during this month) that you feel are examples of scrap excellence. May's winner, plus our previous 11 Elite Scrappers will be in the running for the Pixel Gypsy Elite Scrapper of the Year award next month and a fabulous prize package including $100 PGD gift certificate, a Wacom Bamboo Craft, books, magazine subscriptions and more! In June, your vote will help decide who will be named our Pixel Gypsy Elite Scrapper of the Year. Keep your eyes peeled for that!

Oh, and last Saturday (on NSD) we held our first Saturday Night Live chat. This is a chat that you will be able to find happening every-other Saturday night starting at 9 p.m. (EST) and going until no one is left. ;) Our SNL chat is all about talking about whatever's on your mind...scrapping, kids, husbands, shopping, work--you name it! This is our time to relax, socialize and (because it always happens) have a lot of laughs. We hope that you'll join us for our next SNL chat. Check the PGD event calendar for the next date.

Our challenges will be on a short hiatus for the month of May. Our challenge coordinator Debbie will still keep challenge ideas coming at intervals during the month, but we won't be tallying points. Look for the challenge system to be back online in June!

That's it for now, just want keep you all updated! Have a wonderful afternoon! :)

Photo Fun

I just had to come back and tell you about this cool site I came across; it's called PhotoFunia.
Just choose a scene and upload your pic; cool hey! Have fun! (I did!)

Have a great night!

Happy Sunday people!

Well hello there! Checkin' after a crazy weekend... It's been a busy one... After being sick with an intestial bug on Friday, my weekend did improve. I was finally feeling somewhat better on Saturday and started my day with some laundry and cleaning. Yeah! And of course did some digi shoppin'! I found some really awesome grab bags over at The Digi Chick and also picked up a few neato items at Elemental Scraps, The Lily Pad, and The Daily Digi. My totally damage for the day was $27.35. And I was completely satisfied with supporting the designers, there work is wonderful!!!
To celebrate NSD, Emma and I got together with my sister Wanda and my Mom. We went and did a little shoppin', enjoyed dinner out, and then went back to my Mom's to scrap. We of course, had a sleep-over at Mom's, and enjoyed some story telling and giggling also. I just love our little scrappin' retreats!
I took my laptop to my Mom's instead of my paper scrappin' supplies and did get a couple of LOs done! Woootie! Whoo! Here are a few of my latest:
These are two I completed while scrappin' at my Mom's:

Well, I've gotta cut this short, cuz I don't have much else I wanna say. Tah! Tah!
