Happy Father's Day!!

Wow! Has it been a busy weekend!!! Thus, I haven't had much time to scrap. :( This is the only LO I scrapped this week. But of course, I so wanna scrap today!

Full credits can be found here in my galllery at PGD.

Hey, there’s the new paper and element coordinates, Paper Chaser,
from Alicia Murphy at Pixel Gypsy Designs!

And some fun word art by Sherrie Piegdon, I must play with these for sure!
Otherwise, I just have some pics to share. Just a few I've taken over the last couple of days.
This is a pic of a stray cat that hangs around my Mom's neighborhood; it's he just the ugliest cat you've ever seen? So ugly he's cute. LOL! He hangs around enough that I called him scruffy.

Here is a pic of Emma's sweet little Thumper. His ears have now lopped down, both of them. For the last couple of weeks, he's been running around with one up and one down. Too funny hah?! And I think he's actually starting to grow!

And here are some pics from our adventures yesterday. We enjoyed some lobster with Uncle Greg, pool-side. It was fun watching Emma with the lobster, cuz it was her first time ever. She found she loved it and would have really liked to have more. Oh no... we've created a monster!!

And my Emma having fun in the pool.

Well, that's it for today. I'm off to iron and then to enjoy the Summer sun in the pool!
Have a wonderful day! :)

Happy Sunday!

Hello! It's late Sunday afternoon here; I hope your day has been as eventful as mine. Well, actually mine hasn't been very eventful, but it did involve some relaxation and some work. Kinda of the norm, I guess... I did some ironing, cleaned out Emma's bunny's and hamster cages for her(so she didn't have to worry about doing it; I'm such a nice Mom!), did two loads of laundry, cleaned my new card(boy does it ever look sweatttt now), and washed up our bikes. Oh, and we did some lounging by the pool too! I can now hear Emma and her Dad back in the pool; lots of splashing and giggling going on! It's good to hear that again... gosh I missed Summer!
Anyhow, in the digi world... Ami Collofello over at PGD has an awesome new mini out, it’s called Sweet Tweets mini kit, a must grab now! Look at that color pallette and those adorable elements! Of course, I had to play right away and share my LO below.
(Totally clickable to the store!)
And here a few more of my LOs for th week....
Oh, and you must check out the lastest challenge over at PGD. Cari has posted our scraplift challenge for the month, and it’s a fantastic one! Complete the challenge and post it in our gallery and earn a point. Use your points to redeem for discount coupons or gift certificates! The scraplift is of a memory board; fun hey?!!! Here is my take on it:

Oh, and some more LOs of mine....

Full credits of all my LOs can be found here, in my gallery at PGD.

Well, not much more to share today... I'm off to scrap for awhile! Tah! Tah!

Rainy and Quite Sunday

Well how is your weekend going? Mine been a very busy one, but fun!

We have my neice Jenna for the weekend, which always add to our adventures. :) Such as... Friday night Jenna and Emma were skate boarding down the side walk by our house. They decided to sit on one of the skateboards together, yeah sit!!! Anyhow, they ended up running over Jenna's hand, which tore off one of her finger nails, almost completely! Eeewwwwh...(Poor girl, hey?!) I about freaked! Anyhow we ended up at Urgent Care with her. The doctor decided not to put her(and me!) through the trama of pulling it off completely and said it would fall off all on it's own. She is doing fine now, but it was a long night Friday night...

And yesterday, I treated Emma and here two cousins(Jenna and Karissa) to some bowling fun.

We had a great time!

Today, I'm just doing some chores around the house... fnished up the laundry by 6 am! Wooo! Whooo! And will finish up my vacuuming and then iron.

Oh, and before I go, here are a few of my latest LOs.

Full credits can be found here, in my gallery over at PGD.
Have a great Sunday, and thanx for visiting my world! :)

Yah!!! The Pixel Gypsy challenges are back!!!!

We at PGD decided that the structure we used in the first few months of this year was a good start - but we realized that you were competing against each other, and we don't think that fosters community. Therefore, we've switched to a points system that accumulates as you go, and the points roll over from month to month. If you decide not to trade them in this month, don't. Create more challenge LOs and trade them in next month, or the month after - it's on your time.
Now, when you create a LO for a challenge, it needs to include at least one Pixel Gypsy Designs product, and it must be posted in the PGD gallery. The product can be something you paid for or something from the Free Treats section, but you need to mention it in your comments when posting in order to get credit.
Each LO created by the end of the month, posted in the gallery, and linked in the challenge thread will earn a point. Every few weeks, Deb will post an update on points earned. At the end of the month, you can trade your points in as follows, or roll them over to the next month:
5 points can be redeemed for a 35% off coupon (off a single order)
10 points = 45% off coupon (off a single order)
15 points = 50% off coupon (off a single order)
20 points = $10 gift cert35 points = $20 gift cert
The challenges will be about 10 per month, still Tuesdays and Fridays in the forums and two others posted randomly during the month. Challenges will be at roughly the same time every month, so people who only like certain types can take note.

1st Tuesday - Recipe
1st Friday - Photography
2nd Tuesday - Wild Card (something that doesn't fit the others)
2nd Friday - Scraplift
3rd Tuesday - Technique/hybrid
3rd Friday - Journaling
4th Tuesday - Wild Card
4th Friday - Font
This month, the Wild Cards are fun! I will be hosting an ad-inspired challenge on June 9th, and Laura will be nudging you to use a particular color on the 23rd.
LOs should be linked up to the corresponding challenge here.
And the official rules are posted here.
Hope you'll join us in the fun! :)
