It's Sunday again1 :)

Good morning! I so hope your Sunday is off to a wonderful start! Mine has been... I woke early to get a jump on my day... lots to do! We are throwing a Birthday party for my niece Jenna today, so I'm hoping to get all my Sunday morning chores done before then, like posting on my blog, my ironing, and some laundry. I'm also gonna bake a confetti cake for Jenna.
So I must get snappin'!
But, before all that, I wanted to share a couple of pics of my Emma's bunny Thumper. Remember, how little she was when we first adopted her? Well, she has really grown over the last couple of months, and her ears have lopped down. She is such cool bunny and is fittin' in nicely around this zoo. I'm sharing two pics of our Thumper, one from the first day of adoption and a recent one. Cute hey?

I'm also sharing a few pics from yesterday's activities. Jenna, Emma and I played a little tennis, which was loads of fun since Emma and Jenna have never played before. I figured it would be a great activity that wouldn't cost me a penny. We really enjoyed ourselves in the Summer sun.
And here are some pics from a party we attended last night. It a party that is thrown every year by some friends of ours. It's an evening of friends, food and fireworks. It was a great time and very relaxing. The fireworks display was amazing; they topped our local fireworks by far! I'm thinkin' the city should hire these guys next year! Heee! Heee!

Well, on to some digi scrappin' talk. :)
Have you been over to check out this weeks new goodies in the Pixel Gypsy Shop? Well, if you haven't, you are missing out! There are loads again!!! Here is Sherrie's new whimsical and fun kit, "Mad Love." Isn't it just wonderful? It totally reminds of Elsie Flannigan's design work; what do you thing? And of course I had to scrap with it pronto! :)

And here is a scrap of mine, using this fun kit:

And here are a few more of my LOs since my last post:

This one is for the BOCT - Round II:

Well, I guess that's it for today. I must get going on those chores and I need to get the cake baked. Tah! Tah! :)
Have a wonderful Sunday and week!

Good morning!

I so hope your weekend has been a great one, and that your Sunday is off to a wonderful start! I crawled out of bed quite early this morning(5:00 a.m.); too early, especially considering it's the weekend and I could sleep in...

I am so missing my Emma! She went on an adventure with her best friend and her Mom! Her friend's Mom is participating in a Tri today up in Door County, Wisconsin. (Good luck Tracy!!!) They're gone for five days! She hasn't been away from home, for that many days, without out me. But, she begged me to let her go and said she could handle it. (I so hope she is!) Tracy sent me a pic of the girls through Facebook.(Thanx Tracy!!!) Aren't they just too stinkin' cute?!!!

Otherwise, I've just been trying to keep busy, so I don't miss my girl so much! Cleaning and such, and I got my hair cut, colored and hi-lighted yesterday. My best friend Tina does my hair and she did a superb job! Thanx Tina for making me feel beautiful! :)

Otherwise, this past week was a busy one, so I didn't get a whole lot of scrappin' time in. :( The designers over at Pixel Gypsy Designs have been on fire lately and I honestly can't keep up! Don't get me wrong, I am loving all the goodies! Every one of the designers have created some unbelievable goodies. Here is one of them created by Sherrie Piegdon called "By The Sea" and I did get the opportunity to play!!!

Here is my creation; my Emma in the pool. :)

You really need to check out the shop over at Pixel Gypsy Designs, it is loaded with all kinds of new goodies!!! I'm definately going to be playing today!
Oh, and here is my LO for the BOCT Challenge Round 1. Our team for the Pixel Gypsy Store is made up of a terriffic group of CTs gals; Deb, Jenn, Mari, Whit, and me! And we've all completed and posted our LOs for the first round and they are all superb LOs indeed!
This weeks BOCT challenge is: Make a white space (or negative space) layout. Easy, huh? Not so much! Your team layouts must have a common color theme (examples: black and white; monochromtatic; red, white and blue...). Optional: For all you over-achievers out there, see if you can come up with a common theme or topic for your team to scrap, as well!
And here is what we choose for color and topic themes: Brown is the main color, with splashes of blue and green and outdoorsy theme.-- just any kind of picture taken outside. Here is mine:

I'm really looking forward to Round 2!!! Bring it on DSA!!!

Well, I'm out of here for the day! Tah! Tah!

Howdie people!

Thought I best check in here, since I failed to do so yesterday. My weekened was way busy and full of fun!(Although, I did my share of work too....) Just a few of the fun things we did... A trip to the County Fair on Friday afternoon with my Emma and her cousin Karissa. Carnival rides, games and farm animals! I took hundreds of pics, so you will be seeing some LOs real soon with those! We really had a great time! We also had drinks and dinner out with Bob & Jane(my brother & sister in-law) at our favorite Mexician resturant on Saturday evening. Ohhhhh... it was it yummy!
Other then that, I did some window washing at our place and shampooed some carpets for my Mom, and before I knew it, my weekend was over! :(
Are you ready for some really creative challenges to get that scrapping mojo going? Well Pixel Gypsy Designs hase them! Check out Jenn's scraplift challenge to get your inspiration from a fellow Gypsy. Debbie has challenged you to create a layout based on a 6-word memoir--a great way for those of us who are slightly journaling challenged (that's definitely me!) to express a thought or feeling on our page painlessly. And on Saturday Teri posted a very fun Wild Card challenge that is going to have you playing with color and thinking about ice cream (yum!) all at the same time! All you have to do to earn Gypsy Points is follow the challenge, use at least one PGD product (freebies are ok!), post the layout in the PGD gallery and then link it up in the challenge thread. At the end of the month, Debbie tallies the points you've earned and they are credited to your user account! Gypsy Points can be traded in for discount coupons and even gift certificates! All the information about Gypsy Points can be found here.
Oh, and this Thursday is our monthly Word Artistry Crop! Come join us for some relaxed chatting and receive a free piece of Word Artistry word art. Scrap and post a layout containing the word art you received at the crop by the following Saturday and receive my newest Word Artistry pack, free and before it's released, as your posting bonus! Check the PGD event calendar for the crop time, and for other chats and upcoming PGD sales & specials.
Five of our fabulous Gypsy Girls are gearing up to compete in the Battle of the Creative Teams over at DigiScrap Addict, and one of them is me!!! Each week we will receive a challenge. Layouts will be voted on by the public and the winning Creative Teams (one category for individual designer CTs and one for store CTs) will win fun prizes. We hope that you will support us Gypsy Girls by checking our their layouts and casting your vote when voting begins in the Grand Stand of DSA!
Anyhow, here are my LOs from the past week! All of them are from new designs you can find over at Pixel Gypsy Designs. The new designs area of the shop is full of new goodies; the designers have been on fire! (And I like it!!!)

*Full credits of my LOs can be found here.*

Well, I must cut it short, just way busy! But, I'll be back soon when I have more time!
Tah! Tah! for now! :)

Happpy July 4th!!!

Happy July 4th to the US of A!!! I hope you have some great festivities planned and enjoy your day of independence, however you plan to spend it. We are having our annual pool party and then enjoying the fire-works off our back deck! It's going to be such a fun day! Friends and family gathering and having fun is always the perfect way to spend the day!

I've been very busy lately(good & bad), thus why I didn't post last Sunday. I won't bore you with the all the details, because there are just way too many too list!

I have lots of new LOs to show you(because I didn't post last weekend) and lots of new goodies to tell you about! The Pixel Gypsy Shop is overflowing with some spectacular new products!!! So, let me fill you in. These first six layouts, are a few of my latest created using a variety of my digi supplies!

This LO was created using our new designer's designs, Cari Cruse! She debued last weekend at Pixel Gypsy Designs and has been rawking the shop with her fantastic creations! We are so lucky to have her; she is truly amazing at designing! This new kit is called Knotical; isn't it just awesome?!!! I just adore it; perfect for my Mexico pics!

OMG! And check out this LO! I am so proud of this one; I l just love how it turned out! Between the beautiful new kit, I Love Cupcakes, that Ami Collefello created, and my brush work off to the right, my LO turned out just as I pictured it in my mind.

Oh, and look at this LO of mine! I'm so very proud of this one too! I used a close-up shot of my Emma's eyes, because I think they are just too beautiful not to focus on. Between the awesome pic, the Aged Memory photo action(by Sherrie Piegdon of PGD) I used on the pic, and this stunning new kit, American Salute, by Cari Cruse, this LO just rawks! (See... told you I was proud of it! LOL!)

Okay, now this LO is a fun one! Full of fun and brights; a perfect mix! I used Amanda Carlson's new Puffy Fruit elements on it. Doesn't it just scream Summer?! So fun! :)

This is just a few of the new products over at Pixel Gypsy.... yes there are more! The designers over there have been on fire! Crazy on fire! And I am so lovin' it, because it gets the mojo and inspiration flying for the entire CT! So nobody put the fire out please!!! LOL!

Oh... and if you are looking for some great challenges and a way to earn some coupons/GC from the Pixel Gypsy Shop, you may want to check out our challenges for the month of July. I hosted our first one of the month, which is a photography challenge. Here are the details of the challenge:

It's been said, "If your pictures aren't good enough, you're not close enough!" I don't think this means we should all go out and buy a new lens, but what it does mean, is we should make sure that our subject is the largest and most prominent thing in the frame. By doing this, we make it clear to our viewers what our photo is supposed to be about. The closer we get to our subject the more interesting it becomes and the more impact it has.

So this weeks challenge is about filling the frame; composing our photo so that our subject is clearly identified and the main focus of our photo. So go get close to your subject or crop a pic of whatever suits you, and then scrap it! And most importantly, have fun with it!

*Don't forget, that your layout must include at least one PGD item. You also will need to post your layout in our gallery by the end of the month and add a link to this post to get credit. And here are a couple awesome CT takes at this challenge, to get that mojo going! My "What a Lil' Fruit" LO above and this one from Tashdown(a/k/a Teri) should get you brain-stormin' a LO! Have fun and I hope you join us!

Well, I best going... we have party to prep for! Well, and to be honest, I wanna squeeze in some srappin' time first!!! LOL! Have a wonderful 4th; enjoy those fireworks!(And here is hoping you are able to snap some great pics of you day!)
