Good morning! :)

Thought I would start off today, with a pic of our little Missy May Oooops! I took this one this morning and had to share. Isn't she a lil' cutie?!! I'm constantly taking pics our fur balls around here and probably have hundreds of pics of them. I wuv them so much! :)
And I had to share a few pics of my Emma in action. She is a very active and social gal and is involved in anything she can squeeze into her schedule(and mine). Besides dance and Girl Scouts, she is also on a traveling basketball league. The league takes us all over Southern WI. Here are a few pics from her last two games.

At yesterday's game in McFarland, she collided with an oppsing team member and they both ended up on the floor. My girl banged up her knee pretty good, which put her out of the game for a bit. But, being the tough little cookie that she is, she got back in there after a while on the bench.

Today's game is in Waunkee, and I'm so hoping she doesn't fall on that knee again or she'll be icing it on the bent again.

Well, on to some fun stuff going on in the digi world....

Happy Sunday all!

Morning all! I so hope your Sunday is off to good start! Mine is... quiet, coffe, and computer! :) My hubby is working on closing up the pool for the year and my Emma is next to me on her puter. Ahhhh... life is good. :)
So what's on your agenda for the day? Are you doing a whole lot of nothing or have you got big plans? Me... well I think I'll clean my car this morning and this afternoon we are off to Emma's first basketball game of the season! Go lady L-Cats!!!
I thought I would share my adventure from Friday night. Yep, it was an adventure!! Emma had a sleep-over with two of her best buds, and we went Hallween costume shooping at Halloween Express. We had such a great time and they all found what they were looking for.(I'm sure you'll see pics of that in a couple of weeks.) Although, one shouldn't have a problem finding a costome in that store, it's huge! We even found one for our little Missy! :)
We topped off our adventure for the evening by filling our tummies at Olde Country Buffet, which is one of Emma's favorite spots to eat.
I think they enjoyed the dessert bar the most! LOL! Aren't they cute?!!!
I had to share this pic of our little Missy Mae Oooops too, isn't she adorable?
She is all decked out in her Halleween gear.
Well, now onto my digi world. :)
Guess who is the featured designer at Ahhh Scrap this week??? Yup, Late Night Scraps!!! To celebrate she has a new kit in the store that coordinates with Farm Fresh and its called Happy Haunting. Isn't it just cutest ever?! I'm scrappin' with it right now and I've having a blast with it!! You can save $2 off of the price, of buying both kits separately, by buying the bundle pack (Pick or Treat). Cool hey?!!! Below please find both the previews and the ad with coupon code to also get 30% off anything in her Ahhh Scrap store between now and October 31st!
With all of these discounts it's like stealing these kits, lol!

This is one of my scraps created, by playing with the beautiful Farm Fresh kit! The pics were taken a couple of weeks ago at our local Fall Festival.

And this LO is a scrap of a pic I took standing on my front lawn and looking down our street. I wanted to capture what my world looks like, right outstide my front door. I used a CT Freebie called "Funky Fall" offered to our CT with Creations by Rachael with Plucky Pear. The perfect little mini to scrap this gorgeous pic with!!

It's official Fall around here!

Good morning! I hope all is well with you~

Me, well... The flu has moved in at our house; the hubby and I are stuck at home, both of us sick with the flu.(I'm blaming this on him, since he had it first!) So, here I am at my puter... then I think I'll need a nap. Doing anything is draining and tiring... Nothing wants to stay in me, I'm achey, and chilled... even my blankie doesn't keep me warm... :(

Prior to getting sick yesterday, I had a very busy weekend(which could partly be why I got sick!). On Saturday our family attended a ribbon cutting ceremony for a recreational vehicles(for snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles) bridge in Jefferson County. My parents(in their younger years) were big snowmobilers and still do belong to a snowmobile club. My Dad put many hours of work(actually years) into having this bridge put it. Sadly, though my Dad passed away from cancer before it was complete. Now that it's complete the bridge has been dedicated to a wonderful and hard-working man, my Dad. We are all so proud!
Here I share a few of the pics I took at the ceremony.

This is one is looking over the Crawfish River off the bridge, and then the bridge.

This is my Mom proudly cutting the ribbon in my Dad's honor.

And this is a pic of my family, well some of them anyhow. My Mom, brothers & sisters and some of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. See my Mom huddled in the Cabota? It was darn cold out here on Saturday and we even received our first snow of the season. Which everyone said Charlie(my Dad) ordered for the occasion. (I truly believe he did!)

And on Sunday we went to a bridal shower for my neice/god-child, Megan. Meg's big day is November 13th; thus the count-down begins!

This is the beautiful bride to be opening gifts(and my Emma sneaking in the pic, as usual! LOL!)

The bride's Mom and Grandmother.

And the cake that was made my Meg's Aunt-t0-be; isn't it gorgeous?! Meg's color theme for the wedding is rich Autumn colors, since it's in November. I so can't wait for the big day, everything is going to be beautiful!!

and here is the gift table, which was abundant with wonderful gifts.

In my digi world, I have some good news... I have been offered a second CT position on the Late Night Scraps'(a/k/a Kelly) creative team, and of course I accepted! (Heck, who wouldn't!!!) She is the other designer over at Plucky Pear Designs, and what a duo her and Creations by Rachel(a/k/a Rachael) make!!! They are both truly amazing designers and I'm so totally honored to be on their teams! (Thank you ladies for having me!)

So, on to some of their latest cretions and my LOs using them:

Jammed with glitter fairies, beautiful flowers, jewel encrusted butterflies, gems and charms galore, this kit will surely inspire you. Fatansy really isn't my cup-of-tea, (though I find fantasy LOs so beautiful) but as you can see by my LOs, this kit is perfect for an style of scrappin'. And it's still on sale too!!!
My scraps using Pixie:

And check out Farm Fresh by Late Night Scraps; isn't it just screaming Fall!!! It's perfect for many Fall activities... orchard trips, canning, or a nature walk. Picking fresh fruit right from the tree, vine or bush can be lots of fun. Whether you go as a family or your kids go with the scouts or school there are always amusing moments to capture and share. Apples, peaches, berries and pumpkins are featured in this orchard/farm inspired kit. Which highlights all of the colors of fall.

Saturday, October 3, 2009

Good evening! It's Saturday night here in my neck of the world, and we are being home bodies tonight(which I am thoroughly enjoying!). My Emma has bud Sidney over night and the hubby is watching tv(or maybe sleeping) in his recliner. And me... I'm here at my puter.
We had a enjoyable today, some work and some play. It rained here, so we couldn't do much outside, so I did the laundry, went grocery shopping, did some baking(gingerbread cake) and cooking(Alfredo for supper), and scrapped. Emma and Sidney played, relaxed, and played. :) And the hubby watched the Badger football game, which they won(Go Bucky!).
That was my day in a nut-shell. Over-all a nice, slow-paced and relaxing day.
Tomorrow, we are looking forward to the local Fall Festival; it's tradition for Emma and I to go. This year my sis(Wanda), my Mom, and Sidney will be joining us. The day will be filled with crafts & jewelry, pumpkins, gords, leaves and cornstalks, horse drawn wagon rides, carmel apples, and family and friends... all things full of Autumn's splendor. I can't wait!!!
Well, onto my digi world... my fun and therapy! As you know, I am now a guest creative team member for the wonderful "Creations by Racheal." (Her main site is Plunky Pears.) And it really has been a pleasure; her design work is amazing. Truly one of the best I've seen! I so hope she invites me to be on her permanent team, but I'll just have to wait and see. (Maybe, I'll send her e-mail... it couldn't hurt, right?) :) Anyhow, I have been scrappin' away with all of her awesome kits, and so loving my creations!
Her products can be found at:
My first, called "Dream," is with the gorgeous "My Secreat Garden."
This is "Dog Treats," using "Freshly Baked.

And next, are "Toadly Fun" and "Round and Round" using the joyful kit called, "No Girls Allowed." I thought it was great how this kit would work for alot more then just boy LOs! :) Heck, I used it to scrap my Emma!!!
Anf finally, here is "The Perfect Day," using "Squid Ink." This kit is perfect for all those pool pics I take. (It's hard to believe that Fall is upon us, and pool time is over until next year... Where did the Summer go?)

And these beautifies... "Emma" and "Serenity" are from a stunning new kit by "Creations by Rachael" that is due to hit the stores on October 8th! It is truly packed full of amazing design work; be sure and watch for it!!!
And this little ditty, "Love" is a non CT LO.

(*All previews are linked to the store and the LOs linked for full credits)
Well, I've gotta headr' for tonight. Emma, Sidney and I are going hunker-on-down in front of the tv and watch a good family movie! Night! Night!
