See... told ya I would be back with my latest LOs! There aren't whole lot... I've been busy with life and plus the mojo just hasn't been there. Anyhow, here is what I've got...

(All images linked for full credits.)

Maybe I'll be back later with more... I'll have to see if I get any more scrapin' time in today. :)
Happy Sunday morning to you all!!! How has this fine day started for you and yours? Good I hope! Mine started out by sleeping in... 7:15 a.m. is when I finally decided to get up. It felt sooooo good to sleep in. And now I'm just relaxing in front of my puter with a cup of coffee and my favorites spots on the web.
So are you in the mood for a scraplift! This month at over at the Pixel Gypsy Blog we want you to scraplift Ami Collofello's 'Deep in Thought' LO.(Isn't it so pretty?!!!) The image is linked, if you'd like to see a bigger view. I just finished my lift of this beauty and will share it later; I haven't uploaded it to the PGD gallery yet. But, I will...

What are the scraplift rules? Well, this is pretty simple and open. You can do an exact lift of Ami's layout, design, color, topic and all or put your own spin on it. Follow her design but change the colors and topic. Keep her colors, but modify the design. Let this lift inspire you in whatever way it can!

When you're done with your lift, post a link to the layout in the comments section of the Pixel Gypsy Design blog, here . You need to be linked up here in order to properly award your points!
If you're just discovering our challenges, you can still join in! We post a collection of challenges throughout the month (both here and in the PGD forums) that give you the opportunity to earn points when you complete them. At the end of the month, we tally the points and give out prizes. Our highest point earner gets the Grand Prize which is the complete PGD personal use store for free! First and second runners up get awesome gift certificates, and we have a little something for everyone who participates no matter how many points you earned! For the complete details, including how many points you earn for layouts and how to earn bonus points, check out this post in the PGD forums.

Now onto the new designs added to shop this last week!!! You find them all in the New Products area of the PGD shoppe, here.

Well, that's it for now... I'll be back later to share some LOs... Tah! Tah!

Lookie! Lookie!

Yep! I redesigned my blog!! :) New template, new header, and new color scheme! Can you tell I'm sick of the Winter months and snow, and want Summer and Summer fun back?!!! I really am sick of Winter! We've received 54 inches of snow already this year, which is twice as much as our normal average snow fall. Disgusting hey?!! Although, I will admit... it sure makes me appreciate the three season!

While I'm here, I thought I would share my latest LO. I used a couple of the new kits I bought at Shabby Pickle last weekend, a template from Abish Allen and few elements from Sherrie Piegdon, both from Pixel Gyspy Designs. Bright and cheery, of Emma and two of best buds. I just luv how it turned out.

Well, I'm out of here for now. Later peoples! :)

Sunday, January 18, 2009

Good morning to you and yours! I so hope you have a wonderful Sunday planned! The dh is out-of-town on a business trip for a few days, so Emma and I are on our own. Our plans for today, are to stay in our jammies and just enjoy a nice relaxing day together. I'm thinkin' we will be doing some gamin'; we are totally hooked on the Wii! Otherwise, I want to clean our bathroom closet, because it's a complete disaster and doing my ironing. Other then that, no other work for today... just plain relax the rest of the day. I do hope to play with some of the new products that hit the store shelves over at Pixel Gyspy Designs!

We have a couple new releases in the Pixel Gypsy Designs store! Wooo! Whooo! The newest addition to the Gypsy Collection is here! Mari's Rustic Lane Papers & Elements:

And Abish Allen brings you her Forever Sweet mini kit:

And besides these latest additions, there were butt-load of new products added last Friday! So what are you waiting for?!!! Head on over to the shoppe and check it out!

Oh, and keep your eye on the challenge forum today. Gypsy Girl Laura just posted a fresh new challenge on Friday that is going to get you moving in new directions and having a lot of fun!

And here are a few of my latest scraps, using some new products from last Friday's release. Some for challenges and some just for fun!

This one is totally out-of-the-box for me... isn't it just too funny! The Emma's Squared and I had spent last Saturday afternoon at the mall and the goofy girls just had to play! It was the perfect pic though for this new release by Abish Allen over at PGD.
Here are some before, during and after pics of my Emma getting her hair colored. She has been wanting some hi-lights, so we finally got her in do have it done! Her hair bleaches out so much in the Summer months, that it's blonde. Then come Fall, after it has started growing out, it's her natural brown on top and blonde on the ends. It looks terrible! So, now it looks as cute as can be, until this Summer again... and then it'll be completely blonde again! It's a vishish circle... But, for now her and I are happy with her doo! :)
And these are few more... :)

Oh, and did you hear about the sale going on over at the Pickle!!! OMG! It's one you don't wanna miss!!! There are loads of awesome products retiring from the store, like Kasia Designs, Nikki Beaudreau, and Faith... naming a few of my favs!!! I of course did some shopping... Not because I needed more stuff, because Lord knows I have enough! But, I just couldn't pass up all the cute stuff and the awesome prices!!! Here is what I picked up!!!

I have a LO in-the-works that I started yesterday, but never finished because PSE kept errorring-out on me. This was really pissing me off, so I shutr' down for the nite. So, I'm off to finish it up now and then to do my ironing. Later people! :)

Here we are again...

Here is to hoping this post turns out prettier then last weeks. My formatting was all screwed-up last week and I was too angry to fix it. Hoping this weeks post is pretty! :)
It's Sunday again... which means I post to my blog first thing in the morning. Usually anyhow... I honestly don't have a whole lot going on today. The hubby went out of town for work; he is headed to Vegas until Thursday. Thus, Emma and I have the next 5 days to ourselves; I wonder what we'll get ourselves into while Tony is gone?... LOL!
Today we are just laying low. We've been running crazy since Friday night. Emma and I went to Build-A-Bear Birthday party for one of her school friends. Of course, the six little girls had a blast! After the Birthday party we headed out to my Mom's for a sleep over. It was my Mom's 73rd Birthday on the 2nd, so we wanted to spend some time with her. My Mom enjoys having us over night and loves it! There is nothing more enjoyable then a sleep-over at Mom's cozy house!
After we arrived home yesterday morning, Emma and I headed out again for some shopping. We in search of Birthday gifts for Emma's second cousin Grace. We found so many adorable outfits but settled on one furry and bright colored 3-piece outfit, which is going to look adorable on Grace! We also picked her up the Fischer Price learning bear at great price. She'll love playing with it, I'm sure.
Anyhow, so after all that running around, we are ready for a nice relaxing day at home. I'm doing laundry, will do a lil' ironing, and we plan to play some Wii later too! And to top off our day, Emma and I will go out for dinner at our favorite Mexican Resturant(El Mariachi's). Yummy! :)
In my digi world, I have some new templates by designer Amanda Carlson to show you. They just hit the shelves on Friday, over at Pixel Gypsy Designs. Each template in this collection is inspired by a layout from one of the fabulous Gypsy Girls, including one of mine!!! What a honor to have one my LOs made into a template!!! Check back often for additions to the collection, cuz they'll be more!

Oh, I purchased a couple new products on Friday over my lunch at work. I really didn't need any more goodies, but I couldn't resist! :) Check them out, you may find they are must haves also... Although, I haven't linked the images... just too lazy today. :)

And here are a couple of LOs I completed last week. Full credits can be found in my gallery over at Pixel Gypsy Designs.

One more thing before, I go for the day. The new challenge system has begun over at Pixel Gypsy Designs. So, the first challenge is a font challenge and it's inspired by the television show, Will & Grace. Just download it for free from DaFont, and use it on at least one word in your page. Then upload it to an online gallery, post the link here by January 31st, and I'll tally your points! It's simple. Do you still have questions? PM Deb or see this thread, about our challenge chat coming up on Monday! "Sweet Snuggle Time" above was my LO I created for this challenge. :)

Now I'm out of here! Gotta work on the laundry some more and get my ironing done for the upcoming work week! Tah! Tah! :)
