Morning peoples!

A good morning to you! So how was your Thanksgiving? Did you eat alot? Our Thanksgiving was wonderful; Lots of food, family and fun for us~ We gathered at my Mom's and arrived there at 6 am with the turkey. We spent the morning preparing for the feast.

Here are few pics from our day.

Besides eating we also got our Mom's Christmas decorations out and added the magic of Christmas to her home. See how beautiful her trees were, when we were done. So now Mom can kick back and enjoy her gorgeous trees.

Did you do any shopping? I did some digi shoppin' and that's about it. I didn't brave the craziness of the stores though. I did that once, and decided I'd never do it again. There's too many wackos out there, that push and throw stuff just to get a good bye. It's just not my idea of shopping fun. But, I did do some digi shoppin' from the comfort of my home. Here are a couple of things I picked up. I can't wait to scrap with them! This alpha and kit is from BCD over at Digi Scrapper Brasil; I just luv her creations! She is an amazing designer!

I aso picked up this adorable kit by Jennifer Barrette from over at Elemental Scraps. I saw it when it first hit the store, and I wanted it bad, but didn't bye it. Woke up this morning and scooped it up! LOL!

And I must tell you about the huge sales going on over at Plucky Pear, in case you haven't checked it out yet!!! I am on Creations by Rachel's Creative Team and Late Night Scraps, but if I wasn't, I would be shoppin' this sale! Well, I best scoot... I have some ironing to do and then we are going to pull out the Christmas decorations and add some holidy magic to our home. Emma is very excited for this, so she is ridin' me to get movin'! So... I'm out of here!

Ties That Bind

Look what has hit the store sheleves over a Plucky Pear; "Ties That Bind!" It's a beautiful collab created by Creations by Rachael and Late Night Scraps. A family heritage kit without being overwhelmingly vintage. There are some vintage touches that will give a feeling of historical significance to your layouts without making it appear as if your entire family was born in 1892. Happy Birthday Dad

Today would be my Dad's 77th Birthday and this post is in honor of him!

Dad passed away from cancer on May 22, 2006.

My Dad was a wonderful, caring and strong man!

We all miss you Dad!

Good Sunday morning to you all! I so hope your day if off to a wonderful start.

I awoke this morning too our little Missy Mae Oooops licking my face; she wanted me up! She is such a little sweetie!

It's been way busy lately... you know how life is. Squeezing this and that into your schedule... That's how it's been for me lately anyhow. I started my day off today with coffee and puter time; nice and relaxing. :) The rest of my day looks like this: Ironing, Emma's basketball game, and then off to see 2012! I'm so excited!!!

I wanted to share this pic I took yesterday. I took this out at my Mom's place; isn't it gorgeous?! A beautiful way to complete our day.

Okay, onto to digi stuff. Let's start with the new grab bag by Creations by Rachael!!! It's packed with funky, fun and color!!! It's totally me, all the way! This here is a pic of my Emma and Jenna from last weekend's adventure and I scrapped it for the Elemental Scraps Surprise Challenge 11/06. It was a color challenge to use the products created by the site designers where they create using the same color pallete. I really luv how this LO turned out... fun and whimsical, just like our weekend. This was my first challenge participation over there and I plan to join in on some more. There designer's products pulled me into the shop, and then I found their forum. I was welcomed with open-arms and I'm really enjoying it there. A nice bunch of ladies, that's for sure.


My next two LOs I created using a new collab by Creations by Rachael and Late Night Scraps from Plucky Pear Designs. It's "Ties That Bind," and it's amazingly beautiful kit! My LOs are proof of it's beauty! It will hit the store shelves on Monday, November 23, 2009.

Well, I guess that's about it for today... I gotta go!

Morning all and Happy Digital Scrapbook Day! Well, yesterday was actually DSD, but hey, us digital scrappers celebrate all weekend long! LOL! Fun and games, great deals and freebies all weekend long! I luv it~

Other then that, I started my weekend with dinner out and a school dance with Emma and a couple of her friends and one of her friend's Mom, Tracey. We had a great time and we all danced the night away. Here are a few pics from our evening.

And here are of some pics from the dance. Notice there weren't that many parents dancing, but being that Tracey and I aren't shy and love to dance, we were out there for the entire evening. :) And yes, we imbarressed the girls! LOL!

Yesterday I spent the morning cleaning around the house and then we went shopping. Emma found the perfect dress for this coming weekend's wedding. And I'm sure you'll see pics of the wedding next Sunday. :) We topped are day off with dinner out at Pizza Hut and then some snuggle time in front of the t.v. We enjoyed the new release, Ice Age - Dawn of the Dinosaurs ~ it was a cute movie.

Today... well I'll do my normal ironing for the up-coming work week and then we are going to spend some time outside. It is going to hit 60 degrees here today; our Indian Summer is here! I'm sure this gorgeous Autumn weather won't last long and the snow will be falling soon, so we best enjoy it well we can.
