Oh... has it been a crazy life lately...

So crazy, that I haven't even taken the time to update my blog. Sad that my blog gets neglected, but something has to be, when life becomes a bit out of control.

So, what's been going on? Well, here is a list:

-Prepping for the new school year (school clothes & supply shoppin')-Scheduling & prepping of & for Emma's dance lessons, Girl Scout meetings, and basketball season.

-Helping my Mom because she is still recovering from hip sugery & is limited on what she can do. And getting her to her doctor & therapy appointments.

-Also, my dear mother-in-law passed away. (She really was a wonderful and amazing woman.)

-We added a cute little puppy to our family; a pom/peke mix. Her name is Missy Ooops.

-And we had Jenna for the weekend.

-Oh, and my house work got squeezed in there too. LOL!

Thus, there really hasn't been a whole lot of time for much of anything else. I'm fine with this though, because I have to stay on top of things and stay organized or I get even more stressed. So, a few things get set aside until life allows me time to get back on them.

How about a peak at our new pooch? Meet our sweet little Missy Ooops. :)

And of course pics of Missy have been scrapped by both Emma & I. This first one is by Emma; isn't it just adorable? Emma has really become one good little digi scrapper!

And this is mine:

Oh, and another of Missy Ooops by me. I used an adorable new kit, "Wild Child", by Christy Peffly of Pixel Gypsy Designs and Letter Pressed Alphas(in 3 colors) by Kim Gehring also new and found at Pixel Gypsy Designs.
And a few more scraps of mine and the designs used.

And another. :)

Well, I really must go. Got things I wanna get done today. Tah! Tah! for now! And thanx for visiting! :)

Good Sunday morning to all! I hope your day is off to a wonderful start! Mine is... It's quiet in the house and the birds are singing outside. I'm enjoying some java and puter time; ohhhh.... life is good! :)
For the last three days I've been on Mom duty. After her 2nd hip sugery and weeks of rehab they finally gave her the okay to go home. Thus on Thursday, I was off to pick her up and spend a few days with her. Us kids are taking turns on "Mom Duty" until she is physically able to go solo. Maybe she'll be ready for that, after a week or so of us kids hanging around. :) Here are a couple of pics of her. The first is her trying to sit comforatably in her bed at the hospital, a week after her sugery.
And this is her on Thursday prior to coming home. She looks happy she is coming home, which is a good feeling(for her AND me!). Welcome home Mom! :)

Otherwise, today is gonna be a nice, relaxing day, I hope... Nothing on the agenda, except for what happens.
Since I've been MIA from the digi world and the web, I missed new release Friday at Pixel Gypsy Designs(and there were alot!!!). You may just wanna go check out the shop, and see all the new goodies. I planned ahead though, and took my laptop with to Mom's. White Mom was resting, I took some time to scrap some of the new goodies. I played with "Hike and Seek" by Cari Cruse. This kit is perfect for any outdoorsy pics!

(All images are clickable to the store and credits.)
I scrapped pics fromm our Girl Scout adventure to the House on the Rock. The view was spectacular and I just had to scrap them!

And here are some wonderful products by Christy Peffy, "Little Miss Glam Alpha" and "Emma."

See what I created with these. This is a pic of my twin great-nieces; aren't they just adorable?!!!

Well, I'm out of here for now.... I think I'll scrap a bit... Tah! Tah!

Busy, busy, busy...

Busy, busy, busy... Yep! That's me, and I'm guessing that's what keeps me going. :) I usually post here on my blog on Sunday mornings, but my day was full yesterday.
So, I'm hearing today!
Hi!
Over the weekend our Brownie Troop #3857 visited the Cave of the Mounds and House on the Rock, here in Wisconsin. Both places were so totally amazing; I highly recommend a tour of them for both young and old. The girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
I heard alot of ohhhhhhs and awwwwwwhhhs. :) Here are a couple of group pics, which I'm sure will be scrapped real soon. Our troop consists of 8 girls, but 3 of them were off on family ventures, and weren't able to join us. :(

So, have you been over to Pixel Gypsy Designs lately? If not, you really must go check out all the new goodies in the shop! Amazing work by our designers, and at great prices! How about new a collab called Passport Approved?
Bon Voyage! You are bound for adventure with this huge mega kit put together by the talented Pixel Gypsy designers! With 37 sophisticated and detailed papers paired with oodles of travel themed elements – including 2 alphas – the layout possibilities are endless! You’ll love the Polaroid frames, awesome antique camera, postcard journaling card and so much more! Give your vacation memories the treatment they deserve with this well travelled kit! Over 70 unique elements (not counting alphas or color variations).
And here is my first LO using this wonderful collob!

This is my BOCT Challenge 4 LO. (And if you would like to check out all the other LOs and place your vote, visit here. Just be sure and vote for The Gypsy Girls!!! LOL!)

On this LO, I was playing around with some cloud pics I took and came up with this.

And this one here is for an upcoming challenge over at PGD. These are some of the pics I took while at the Milwaukee County Zoo, the weekend before last. Emma and I had so much fun there; we both agreed that it's an amazing zoo.

Otherwise, in life, it's been the norm. Visiting my Mom up at the hospital and taking care things around her place while she recovers. We are all hoping she is released from rehab this week, cuz we would much rather visit her at home, then up at the hospital.
On another note, school starts in a little under month, for my Emma. Thus, we will need to add school shopping and registration to our agenda.
Remember those days as kids? Oh... to be a kid again...
Well, I best get going... my lunch hour is almost over.
Tah! Tah! for now! :) And have a wonderful week! :)

Pixel Gypsy Designs is having a Description Writer's Call! If you are a descriptive writer and would love to be compensated with free product then we want to hear from you!!!

Good Sundy morning to you!

Good morning! I so hope your day is off to a wonderful start! Mine is... I was up before the sun and I'm feeling great(no nose pain or headache. Thank goodness!) Yesterday I was miserable all day with nose pain and a headache, although I was able to get the laundry done and the house got vacuumed and swept. Oh, and I even got a LO completed. So, considering how miserable I was, I still functioned. I'm not sure how, but I did. It's amazing what you can do with the right frame of mind.
Today we have a number of things we are planning to do. I have my ironing to do first, which I will be getting at next. Then we will be off to Wal-Mart, a visit with Mom at the hospital, and then to the Milwaukee County Zoo. A great day planned and my Emma is so excited.
Have you been over to Pixel Gypsy Designs this last week? If not, you really must check it out! There a loads of wonderful new goodies in the shop again!!! Here are a few of them, that I had the pleasure of playing with.
Ticket to Ride by Alicia Murphy

And my CT scrap using this fun kit. The perfect kit to scrap our adventure to the
Jefferson County Fair.
And here is Playtime by Alicia Murphy; isn't is just wonderful and so darn playful?!!!

And my CT scrap of my Emma and cousin Karissa creating the chalk art. I think this kit was made for these pics!!!
OMG, you must check this one out!!! It's Back 2 School by Cari Cruse! I am so in love with this kit; I just the old-school feel it has!
And lookie these fun new alphas by Ami Collofello!!!I couldn't resist playing with both of them and created this CT LO yesterday! These are pics I caught of the two Emma's while on a class trip to the State Capitol. (Little drama queens! LOL!)
And this one here, is my BOCT Round 3 Challenge! Boy was this one tough... just so many defined elements to use, which made it a real challenge. But still, I really enjoyed it and luv how it turned out! Now I'm ready for the final Round, which may be posted today(I hope!).

(All pics are clickable to the PGD Store and for full credit in my gallery.)
Well, I've gotta scoot... lots on the agenda today. Tah! Tah! :)
